Classic Design that is getting hard to find,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Tombow Egg Pen BW-2000ZD2 with Barrel in Textured Matt Grey (Office Product)
Probably the quirkiest rollerball ever made, the TomBow quickly became a bit of a design icon in the pen world when it first hit the pen scene some years ago (costing £37 then)! I got mine at a bargain price before Christmas, and the seller appears to have disappeared for the moment, but it's well worth looking out for - word on the pen circuit is that it's now discontinued, so collectors will be after them soon.
It might look a little strange in the photo, but it's really a well engineered and very ergonomic big little pen that fits any size of hand perfectly.
The metal barrel and cap both have a very tactile grey flock covering that makes the pen very comfortable in use, and although it works well without the cap, it fits larger hands best if it is used posted (with the cap pushed on the end of the barrel).
It is supplied in a very effective velvet lined and shaped metal carry case. The black ink actually shades very well for a rollerball, and is more water resistant than standard fountain pen inks.
Quirky, Easy Writing, Classy and a real design statement, the person I bought it for absolutely loves it.
I hope this helped.
