This review is from: Bartram's Encyclopedia of Herbal Medicine (Paperback)
This excellent modern (1995)encyclopaedia comes well presented and in a very usable format enabling the user to look up either the ailment or the herb with equal facility. Practical enough to point the user in the right direction and give an intelligent grasp of the usefulness of particular herbs in any given situation.
I bought it on the recommendation of a practising herbalist and certainly haven't been disappointed. The sort of book that's appropriate for the bookshelves of any thinking person. The blurb, which describes it as " recommended as a concise and authoritative reference book" is actually, in this instance, quite appropriate.
