1.0 out of 5 stars Nokia care very bad, 5 April 2012
This review is from: Nokia N900 Sim Free Mobile Computer with Maemo 5 Software (Wireless Phone Accessory)
the n900 is a very good phone, but if it,s out of warranty and anything happens to it, you are on your own for some strange reason nokia is refusing to fix or repair it they will not even accept it from you in the first place, i,m talking from experience they refused to take the handset from me and the lady i spoke to said i was on my own concerning the handset, the problem mine had was that the usb charging stud on the phone itself snapped so it wasn,t charging took it to nokia care centre in manchester they refuse to take it for repairs and then i took it to carephoneware house the same they checked the imei number and its out of warranty and refuse to accept it, nobody could give me any real reason for not wanting to repair it, called nokia support on this number 01842768061 the lady said sorry nothing they can do, so my advice is if you buy this phone you are on your own if anything goes wrong
i was really dissappointed with nokia i will never buy nokia products again

Frogger says:
This due to the part being needed to fix is no longer available. My packed it in 2 months before the warrenty was up. They tried to give me an N8 i told them to shove that thing! They insisted until i brought up Legal action i told them the only thing i would accept is a new N900 an N9 or an N950 as those are linux phones. I am guessing the problem was your phone would no longer make calls or access the 3g network?
