If you don't have good balance or flexibility, this is not for you.,
This review is from: Yoga - Conditioning For Women [DVD] (DVD)First off, I have several of Suzanne Deason's DVDs and, in general, I think she is fabulous. I also enjoyed the "cool down" section of this DVD.
On the not so good side... This session requires considerable flexibility and balance. There are numerous poses where one is required to balance on one foot and then extend the other leg, holding the foot straight out in front of you. WOW- I cannot do that, even though I have been practising yoga for over a year. As one other reviewer noted, Suzanne also moves rather swiftly through the poses and it is hard to keep up. By the time I get my balance, she is on to the next pose.
There ARE modifications, however. Unfortunately, these are in a seperate section after the session. I think her DVD Yoga for Weight Loss is presented in a far more user friendly way in that it shows you 4 variations all during the main session so you can do what you are capable of.
If you are very flexible and an experienced practioner, then perhaps this DVD is for you. If balance and flexibility are not quite where you are at, then skip this DVD and try one of Deason's many other *friendlier* workouts.
