Not At All Useful,
This review is from: A Treatise On Probability (Paperback)
The mathematics of probability is better dealt with elsewhere (e.g. Wikipedia and other websites), and the rest is dull. The book appears to be Keynes' attempt to pull together most of what was known about probability 90 years ago into a coherent whole, with his own commentary about it. However, it all looks horribly dated now. If you have to make a decision based on numbers, then I would suggest playing with them in a spreadsheet. You'll also find most of the statistical distributions you'll ever need in the spreadsheet functions. However, beware! Probability is absolutely full of traps for the unwary.
