Text accompanying images often unreadable (Kindle version),
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Bold Visions: A Digital Painting Bible (Kindle Edition)
I bought the Kindle version of this book because I have so many books already and need to start saving space!
This isn't something I would normally do, particularly for art related books, because of their large format and the purchase of this one proves that digital isn't always equivalent to the print. What made this more annoying was I only paid about £2 less than the print version.
A simple check would have revealed that in a lot of cases the captioning used to accompany many of the images simply isn't readable and resizing doesn't work.
I can live with poor spelling or punctuation because I can "see" that and correct it but this issue isn't so easily solved.
Just hope that the author or publisher actually read reviews and address this oversight in future releases. I doubt they will correct it and offer a free update to those who've already purchased the book even though it will potentially prevent me from purchasing future books by the same author/publisher.
