At last, another movie on DVD!,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Pokemon: Giratina and the Sky Warrior [DVD] (DVD)
Incase you are confused, this is the 11th Pokemon movie. 7, 8 and 9 have yet to receive DVD releases in the UK, but after these two, you never know. I import the American ones anyway, so I shall review this version too.
This movie follows Ash, Dawn and Brock as they encounter Shaymin, who is on his way to the Flower Garden, and so they help Shaymin get there. However, the villain of the film, Zero wants Shaymin in his aid to capture the ruler of the Reverse World, Giratina.
As far as Pokemon movies go, this one is pretty good, I'd say the best out of the four Diamond and Pearl movies. Shaymin teasing Ash is funny and makes a change from Ash always befriending the Movie Pokemon. A few faults I have are the loose connections with the 10th and 12th movies as they were grouping these films as a build up to the battle between Palkia, Dialga and Giratina, but apart from Dialga's short appearance at the beginning, there is not much connecting these three films. Speaking of Legendaries, Regigigas shows up VERY late into the film, which made me wonder why even include him into the movie at all.
Recommended for Pokemon fans all ages.

If she still watches and enjoys the show, she should still enjoy it.
