3.0 out of 5 stars Prefer the older long box set, 3 Jan. 2011
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: From Nashville To Memphis - Essential 60S Masters (Audio CD)
As i have the previous box set of this release with the cd's in there own case and the enclosed booklet it was a pleasure to read the notes and not have the cd's getting scratched.....this set has the cd's laying on top of each other and can get scratched trying to remove them. If you want to play disc 1 you have to take out disc 3 then disc 2 and where do you place these on the table or anywhere....
The booklet you need a magnifying glass to read the notes......The photos are excellent and the sound perfect.....
As i don't like to knock this release, I won't be playing the discs again for the reason above......

Could you not put them back in the case to stop them getting damaged?

I think also. This is not the best solution. Risk of scratches and handling is complicated. But, the price is world glass.

Aaron Spicer says:
Here's a revolutionary idea - put the CD's back in a different order so disc 1 is on top, then disc 2, then disc 3? That's what I've done and it works a treat! Sorry, no sarcasm intended....

If you didn't intend sarcasm, why did you write "Here's a revolutionary idea ..."?
