Email marketing is often overlooked now that social media is the latest thing, but it was and still is one of the best, most direct and low cost ways of selling.
What's great about Ed's book is that its everything to everyone at all stages of email marketing - for a business that's never done it (or never done it properly!) it's a step by step guide of how to and why. For those of us who already use email for marketing and sales there are some great reminders and new ideas in the book to make it work better.
The case studies in particular I found really useful to see how in different businesses and situations email can be a real benefit and dramatically improve results.
You'd have to try very hard to come up with an excuse to not be using email (and using it well) in your marketing when you've finished this book!
