I'm a massive Sabbath fan but this is sweepings from the cutting room floor of a glorious back catalogue (well until Ozzy left),

Bitter disappointment. Looking forward to the new album and the O2 concert next Tuesday. The set list next week should not include any tracks from '13' -not because they are new, but because not one is anywhere near good enough to make the playlist. Of course most albums from any artist have filler tracks -think of your least favourite Sabbath track (hard to find in the Ozzy era) and all on 13 are much, much worse than that. It is that bad. I don't even think these are all new songs; they feel like rejects from past albums. Some are simply embarrassing (the first track) and all are lyrically clichéd (God Is Dead), when Sabbath were famous for their lyrics, their riffs, their key changes. But these are like a 5 year old has copied past lyrics. There isn't a decent riff or hook and not a melody in sight. The opening riffs to all songs are tuneless. Track 3, Loner, sounds like the poor cousin of Johnny Blade and some of the lyrics are almost a direct copy. Why release an album to justify a tour -they don't need to do that! I don't believe this album, they don't sound like they mean it. What a shame.
