This review is from: The Hanging Shed (Douglas Brodie series) (Kindle Edition)
My first Kindle experience (albeit on an iPad) and the first time I've felt moved to put finger to keyboard and note my thoughts on the results.
A fast paced, constantly intriguing, page turner of a thriller which felt like it was going to be over half way through, only to pitch up with a second wind and keep me glued to the plot to the end. Wonderfully crafted and an accessible and enjoyable read. Dark undercurrents and reflections of post war Scotland make this romp remind me of an updated version of 'The 39 Steps", but it's that and some.
So why only 4 stars? Easy, I never rate anything with 5 stars (you have to have something to aim for) and the other two titles by Gordon Ferris aren't currently available for download, which is such a shame as I want to read them now!! This very instant! Simple Perfection

I think if its "simple perfection" its got be to 5 stars isnt it. You're asking the author to aim for better than perfection... :O?
Brillliant review though.
