Excellent book for New and Intermediate seamsters,
This review is from: S.E.W. Sew Everything Workshop (Spiral-bound)
Although I've been handsewing for a while, I've recently bought my first 'proper' sewing machine (a JML easy stitch doesn't count!) and ordered this book to guide me through sewing my first projects. I was really impressed with the clarity of instructions and how many wearable patterns are included. Diana Rupp's writing style is friendly and reassuring and she goes through everything from getting to know your machine, choosing fabric, types of stitches and a host of techniques to take you from beginner to intermediate and beyond. An excellent book!
