I bought this for my Mum as she's recently rekindled her love of sewing and is getting into dressmaking big time. She insisted on this edition as it's better than the others. Apparently it has important techniques included that are not featured in other editions. She has stressed that paying the extra is well worth it.
This does now seem to be her bible!
I am so impressed with the things she has made recently, including an evening gown that I hope to wear soon at a black tie event.
It's a very good comprehensive book that will no doubt be thumbed regularly for the rest of her life.

Ms Cook says:
There are two editions of this book: 11 Nov. 2010 @ £19.48 and 25 Nov 2010 @ £11.83 The same reviews are applied to both. They have different ISBNs. Do they have exactly the same contents? How do I make an informed choice?
