A contemporary classic,
This review is from: Dot (Hardcover)
A beautifully written quirky novel about friendship, growing up, love, family, identity and loss. A sympathetic and humorous aaccount of growing up in bizarrely eccentric family which nevertheless will resonate with anyone who has a family and has grown up.
I was by turns moved to smile, to laugh, to question and to cry. It reminded me a little of When God Was A Rabbit and deserves to be equally successful.
