Let me start by being honest, I've read some of Paul McKenna's other books such as I Can Make You Thin but it never seemed to work for me but when I saw this was being released I thought I would give it a go, a tenner at most you can't complain.
I only received it a few days ago and read it the same day (only 130 or so pages so doesn't take all that long) and also listened to the CD. Everything in this book makes sense, you just get it. People will say it's common sense to stop eating when you're full and we know that but it doesn't mean we do. An alcoholic knows he shouldn't drink - but that's the problem, he still does regardless. Paul mentions his previous I Can Make You Think books in this and explains how it only works for 70% of people. With this book, it's supposed to have a 99% success rate.
I've only been following it a day or two so can't comment too much on if it works but I can say so far Ive noticed I've been eating less, only when I'm hungry. I will post another reviews once I've been following for a few more months.
So update for 20/01/2013.
I've noticed that I eat more often now, however when I do eat, I eat a lot less however unlike a lot of people I haven't lost much, maybe 3lb total. I listened to the CD once as thought the book said listen to it once a month but after reading other reviews I see maybe you need to listen to it everyday until you reach your goal so I've started listening to it daily. I will report again in another two weeks.
Update as of 23/04/2013.
After 20/01/2013 I failed miserably. It just didn't seem to work all that well and I gave up.
Last week however I re-read the book and started listening to the hypnosis track EVERY night. Previously I only listened to it once or twice but I've read from various comments sometimes it requires listening a few more times so I'm in the habit of listening to it once a day. This time it seems to actually be working, just over a week later and I've lost 7lb and all I'm doing is stopping when I'm full. I've enjoyed food such as pizza, burgers and even some chocolate and I'm still losing. Also, don't give up if you're disappointed. I got weighed one day and I'd gone up a pound and normally it would make me think twice but no I chose to continue on...
