Great resource, from a trusted company too, and bang up top date,

Starting a business is a massive challenge, keeping it going for years is an even bigger challenge. So, when starting out you want the best help you can get. The problem here is there is a wealth of books, guides, websites, accountants, banks and organisations wanting to help you, but most have an agenda - to get your business.
It's a minefield when starting out, so this book helps you through this minefield and guides you along the essentials, in a clear step by step way. It is not full of pointless jargon, but gets down to 'business' and has so much useful and bang up to date advice. There is plenty for everyone here, and is very easy to pick up. I helped a friend start a business, he used this, but also worth a mention is a great DVD guide The must know guide to: Start Your Own Business - a DVD guide [DVD] [May 2012] which reinforces and allows you to pick the essentials up from the comfort of your armchair, so also well worth picking up as well as the FT guide here.
Running a business is a massive risk, but rewards can be substantial, and that`s not just financial. A lot of self-worth is generated by running a successful organisation. If you're thinking about starting out, or recently started and need help then this is for you, and coupled with the dvd make a great pairing.
Best of luck with your ventures!!
