don't bother, full of stunningly boring pictures. pretension title, very poorly executed. mine's going to the charity shop.

Please tell me which charity shop your sending this brilliant piece of work to, I would love to have it, and any over items that you don't understand.

Having looked at the other reviews you've written I don't think you have any link to art and culture. I've seen this book and it is brilliant.

This reviewer appears to have omitted the letters "ck" before the last letter in his/her name. What does "pretension title" mean incidentally? This may not be the best pictorial representation of the English but it's not bad at all and deserving of more constructive comment than this.

lol! oh i "understand" it alright..

i've owned it and it was a miserable, rushed, shallow and scrappy attempt to define english people, just pandering to small minded nationalism and patriotism, just to make a few quid on a book..

oh funny, so i should be called "bollocks"?! well clearly you are an educated person! yeah typo should read "pretentious", this you need explaining? no it's not "the best", but i'd be interested to see if you could find me a worse one? go ahead, i'm all ears. when you say "constructive", you mean positive. sorry, it's rubbish, a complete waste of perfectly good printing material.

I must say that I completely disagree with your review.
I have seen this book and would love to own it (I probably will one day but have purchased too many recently) - so if you really are going to give it to a charity shop, may I please have it instead ??
The photographs are stunningly produced (and yes, I do know that they were all taken off the top of a camper van using a large format camera !).
Definitely NOT poorly executed, they are wonderfully shot (yes, I am a Photographer).
Sorry, you're entitled to your opinion but you're just plain wrong.

clearly you have low standards..

You seem very bitter towards this Photographer.
What's your problem ??
Are you a Photographer yourself ?? Send me a link and I'll send you mine and we can decide from there.
P.S. There is NO such thing as right/wrong in Photography. If a picture moves you in some way, then that's all there is to it.
P.P.S. Low standards ?? Try Capital letters at the beginning of a sentence and just one full-stop at the end !

i always type in lowercase and the extra full stops are deliberate, but this is not a grammar lesson..
i just feel as tho this was a cheap and tacky attempt at what could have been far classier, more professional and substantial..why you should think this is something personal against the photographer is beyond me..
you obviously disagree with that, so let's move on..
