This review is from: Victor Boys: True Stories from 40 Memorable Years of the Last V Bomber (Hardcover)
Tony Blackman has done a good job in getting a spread of stories and memories of pilots and crew who operated the Victor throughout its career. Don't expect a lot of detail about the design of the aircraft, this is not what this book is about, instead you get more of a 'smell' for what this aircraft was like from the experiences and escapades of those who flew and operated the aircraft. Good balance in the contributions - it is not too one-eyed as such books can be. A nice book to have on the coffee table to dip into in short bursts, although equally readable enough to complete in one sitting.
