An essential for ethicists,
This review is from: Chimera's Children: Ethical, Philosophical and Religious Perspectives on Human-nonhuman Experimentation (Paperback)
A meticulously detailed explanation of the science and legislation in the UK (and many other countries) about animal-human (or as the authors refer to it for reasons they explain - human-nonhuman) experimentation, such as mixing human sperm and eggs with those of other species.
Whilst the level of detail will deter all but the most interested non-specialist reader, the ethical and philosophical conclusions deserve a much wider readership. I hope a condensed version for the non-specialist will be forthcoming. It is urgently needed.
