I had thad this riding hat as my first ever riding hat and I found it misleading becaue at the time I did not know that the drawstring in the back had to be done up..
When my riding instructor checked it she said somthing like the string should be done up to create an air pocket and it is not up to the Uk standards: This hat is a 1996 whereas the UK standard is at least 1997. I might just have a funny shape head but this had did not fit me - that might be somthing to do with my grandparents ordering the wrong size!!!! When it did fit it was stll uncomftorble and I found that there was not enough padding in it so I found it really hard on my head. Can I please reccomend you don't buy this hat as it is not safe and needs to have the drawstring done up which makes it the wrong size. I reccomend you buy a champion hat as they are kitemarked and up to standard and are so comfy.
