This review is from: Apocalypse 2073 (Volume 1) "The Prophecy" (Kindle Edition)
I plodded through to the end (thankfully it was short) but did not enjoy this poor effort at an apocalyptic tale of nuclear destruction and bunker construction. It lacked excitement, had almost no character development and the plot was almost absent. There were many annoying inconsistencies and logic holes.
Word choice was sometimes poor making it difficult to read. There was loads and loads of unrealistic and forced dialogue. Imagery, what little there was, was very poor e.g. "it seemed to be an unusual color" (said of a door). No further explanation, just 'unusual'. So what colour is a door then, usually?
The author needs to go on a writing course or join a group to get some constructive criticism before publishing (I assume it's self-published). I would not bother with any more in this series.
