Disappointed, I think is the word I would use for this. I bought it to help heat a large conservatory after reading lots of 5 star reviews saying it is the quickest way to heat a room. Problem is, it doesn't say what size room. My conservatory is heated by an oil filled radiator that gets the room to about 16 degrees in the winter in the early hours of the morning. Turning the Dyson on with the oil filled rad, I thought, would heat the room up fast. But, after 2 hours, it had only raised the temperature by 3 degrees C, still too cold to sit in, and this is with the patio door open into the house. The conservatory gets to this temperature anyway with the door open.
Looks like I will be getting a new gas bottle for my LPG heater, that warms the room up in no time.
Sorry Dyson, it just doesn't work for me. If it was 1/3rd the price it would still be too dear. Looks nice though!

Alan - its a heater not a magic heater. You have a large conservatory - your read it could heat a room quickly - let me repeat - you have a large conservatory .....did the penny never drop ?

Why can't you people make positive comments instead of insulting a reviewer? Your ignorant comments adds nothing to the review and just turns more and more people off wanting to bother to read reviews when all one sees is stupid people making unnecessary remarks.
Thank you Mr. MacDonald for your review. It did help me decide to stick with my Calor Gas heater

Try paraffin / kerosene heaters. They are efficient and throws loads of heat.
