This review is from: Hitman: Damnation (Paperback)
For what it is, a video game spin off, this book is actually surprisingly good to read.
The book is well written, and has a multi-layered story line that comes together toward the end as expected (although not predictably). While not Shakespeare, it still kept me reading from start to finish. Indeed, some storylines are developed and then cut off too quickly: the linear progression of events tends to come about too quickly, as a result atmosphere and tension don't have a chance to develop which i detrimental to the story.
This is what I would classify as a "Train book". Something that is easily digestible yet still entertaining. Broken up with periodic moments of suspense, ideal for when you commute to work.
You don't need to read it before playing the latest installment of the video game, but i would recommend.
