Not impressed with the lack of performance,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Lenovo Yoga 2 11 11.6-inch Touch Convertible Laptop - Black (Quad Core Pentium N3520 2.17GHz, 4GB RAM, 500GB HDD, Integrated Intel Graphics, No DVDRW, Windows 8.1 Home Premium) (Personal Computers)
I bought this product to replace a 4 year old Dell laptop that was still working well but I fancied a hybrid laptop/tablet. The product arrived ahead of the suggested date (well done Amazon) and was good looking and felt very sturdy. That's where the good impressions ended.
Far too many Levono apps preinstalled which was annoying but expected. What I didn't expect was that a high spec brand new device would only pick up my 2.4 GHz WiFi and not the 5ghz one. I compared the Yoga vs my old Dell and for internet video streaming the Dell was perfect whereas the Yoga stuttered and buffered-not good enough.
I then compared other things like starting up (Dell faster), starting up Word (Dell faster) and opening a large PowerPoint presentation (you got it.....Dell faster.)
Good looking and clever design woefully let down by poor internal power that ruined my user experience.
I returned it last night and the good people at Amazon have already processed my refund.
Fantastic review by the previous person-maybe their expectations are just significantly lower than mine.
BTW-Windows 8 is fabulous in my opinion.

Admittedly I came to this laptop from another which was painfully slow. Startup, however, is incredibly speedy for me - 5 seconds, maybe 10 at max. Perhaps it's a mixed bag...
