This review is from: First FRCR Anatomy Practice Examinations (MasterPass) (Paperback)I don't think I would recommend this book to a friend, although there are a few good points as well...
- It is a good price though considering the number of exam cases you get. Loads more cases compared to the oterh guide I got (Barrett and Raj book).
- It is helpful to get you used to the exam format. Gives you an idea of typical cases in the exam and other questions they may ask.
- The main issue I have with this book is that the image quality is really bad... I don't expect glossy images, but these are just too poor quality unfortunately - it iss really difficult in some of the images to even see the arrow, let alone what it is pointing at. There are a few images just pointing to black on the image, then you check the answer and it will say "bladder" when nothing like that is visible.
- The second criticism is that a lot of the images were used repeatedly throughout the book.
