A word of warning,
This review is from: Apple MacBook Pro 13 inch Docking Station (Aluminium Unibody Mid 2009 Onwards) by Henge Docks (Accessory)
The product itself is very good, the quality is fine and although it is a little fiddly to get the cables attached it's not too much of a problem.
However, a problem does exist with the Macbook itself. When the computer is run with a closed lid the wifi signal is terrible. This won't be a problem if you are going to use the ethernet connection but be warned otherwise.
Search for wifi lid based issues on Google and you'll see that there are a number of reports of the issue. In addition, there is some talk of overheating issues when the machine is run like this. That may also be worth taking into account.
The HengeDock itself though is a well made and presented piece of kit

I've been running a macbook pro for quite a while now, and although there heat issue you report existed, it's not a problem with the mid 2009 onwards macs. I never had the wifi issue with the lid closed.
I agree the product is a bid fiddly to setup, but the heat issue and wifi should not affect the rating on the product (I bought one yesterday and I think it's brilliant that somebody decided to design something for macbook pros)
