What is going on with Amazon reviews?,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Galactic Empire Wars: Destruction (The Galactic Empire Wars Book 1) (Kindle Edition)
This book is just awful, I don't mean to be offensive but bare minimum it needs a seriously good edit. Looking at the reviews with a slightly more analytical eye it becomes obvious that they're bogus. I have no idea how people are doing this but it really pisses me off that due to clowns like this I now have to try and figure out whether the reviews are actually for real.

Glad I read your review first as once I dug into many of the reviews they are just sound bites and if you check their other reviews they are all the same, hmmm seems a bit dodgy to me.

Michael Liddell says:
This is prevalent in Amazon reviews The first reviews tend to be positve because they are created by the author or associates. Very difficult to get a true sense of how good a book might be until a large number of reviews are available.

Just to balance things out a little. I did read the book to the end and it has the makings of something quite brilliant. It just needs a good editor. I'm all for cheap Kindle publishing but I think there are lines that should not be crossed and this book crossed a few of them.
