superb... with one small problem,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Lieder (Fischer-Dieskau, Moore) (Audio CD)
Dieter Fischer-Dieskau is - to my mind - THE unsurpassed interpreter of Schubert's Lieder. And so, I ordered what I expected to be the CD version of the LP in Norway and the cassette I had in Nepal. That it is - with one irritating exception: there exist two Schubert 'Der Wanderer' Lieder. And this one is D.649, which is not the better-known one (D. 493) that concludes resoundingly 'Dort wo du nicht bist/dort ist das Glück'.A minor point, but it's one of my favourites, so the insufficient product information here led to a disappointment. (Please - provide more complete content listings?) But - his Erlkönig is as stirring as ever!

I quite agree, where there there is more than one version of a Schubert lied they should include the Deutsche number. Excellent point.
