Well laid out but poorly edited,
This review is from: Oxford Spanish Minidictionary (Misc. Supplies)
I bought this dictionary thinking it would be adequate for beginner level. Only 18 weeks into my course I'm already finding it insufficient.
Inevitably, due to its size, there is going to be a limit on the amount of information it can contain but a lot of the problem is due to poor editing. For example, when I look up verb 'salgo', it rightly directs me to the infinitive, 'salir'. The only problem is they've forgotten to put an entry in for 'salir'. This is not the only instance where common words are absent and I wonder whether this dictionary is being sold on reputation rather than quality.

K. Geoghegan says:
You can find the verb salir under salida, at least in my 2002 edition. But I agree that common verbs like salir should have their own entry instead of having to dig for them.
