Not as Good as other models - beware,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Fiskars Telescopic Universal Cutter (Garden & Outdoors)
I own a smaller older version of Fiskars Telescopic Loppers and because of their excellant build quality and ease of use I purchased this set as they should allow me to prune much higher branches than my existing set. Unfortunately the build quality and performance are significantly inferior to my other set. When extending the pole the movement is not smooth, the locking lever not very positive. The worst aspect of all is the tape which runs from the handle to the anvil head is external to the pole and is not taught meaning it can snag on branches when in use (unlike my existing pair which is completely concealed). The pictures used for advertising are oriented in such a way so that the tape is not shown. Although it cuts fine because of its shortcomings it is no better than Telescopic Cutters costing one third of their price.

Thta's funny, other reviewers here have praised it because the tape IS inside the pole. Are you sure you assembled it properly, and are we talking about the same thing here?
