This review is from: Cuisinart Food Processor Duck Egg Blue Finish (Kitchen & Home)I bought this processor about 5 months ago. It has been used extensively - for chopping veg and meat and making houmous and pastry. The quality really shines through. It will mince 1kg of meat with ease (best to do this with pulse action for control over texture). It is a very heavy processor and is really best left out on the surface. The weight of it has the positive effect of stopping it hopping around the surface - this is something I have encountered with other processors - especially when processing tougher items. The fantastic 20 year guarantee really gives piece of mind. If you buy this, make sure you send off the guarantee. Aside from the obvious reason for doing this, you will receive a very handy holder for the disks etc that come with the processor. You may not have a stockist near you to go look at the item so I thought I should quickly comment on the appearance of this processor. The photo of the item does not really do it justice. When I first saw it over the internet, I assumed that the housing unit was plastic - as it is with cheaper cuisinart. In fact it is metal (hence its weightiness). This gives it a real quality feel and appearance. The motor also betrays its quality - quiet and responsive. I have owned the other well know quality brand (a smaller version) and would say that the cuisinart compares favourably against it. I highly recommend!

Thank you very much for your positive feedback, which really made up my mind about purchasing this item. I did have a AEG food processor which was brillant but decieded to "bite the dust last week" and as I love cooking I have felt like a fish out of water. I was initially going to purchase a Kenwood food processor but upon reading the feedback on Amazon regarding this made up my mind, that it would have been the wrong move. I came across this model after doing extensive searches and then checked the feedback and with the guarantee of 20 years, it made up my mind to purchase the item, which I duly did at 03:33 . Which I am looking forward to receiving. Thank you very much for your feedback, it was really invaluable. I was also a bit sceptical about the duck egg colour, but reading the amazon feedback, put my mind at ease, as I really did not want to stretch to £180 for the silver version which. I think with such an extended guarantee it will really be well worth the money, as these days eletrical kitchen items can some be so "finky" especially as I know previously my old food processor was used extensively, it has not gone to the food processor in the sky, may it R.I.P. I did take me a while to get this at the good price of £124 if you wish to purchase one the website is https://www.paysan.co.uk. :-)
