This review is from: Wedding Night (Hardcover)
As someone who has always enjoyed books by Sophie Kinsella, I really wanted to like this book. However, once again I have been disappointed, which is a shame as Sophie was once one of my favourite authors and I always eagerly looked forward to new titles by her. But Wedding Night is a totally silly, beyond ridiculous story. The main characters are meant to be intelligent people in good jobs yet their behaviour doesn't suggest this at all.
As with Sophie's previous two books, I gave up after a couple of chapters. In my opinion Sophie's last decent book was Twenties Girl, and I hope that she will return to form soon otherwise I may give up trying her books. I'm glad I got this out the library and didn't waste any money on it.
I hoped to like it but it was a real disappointment. Come on Sophie, you're capable of so much more.

Dear Pink Lady,
You really should read through with I've got your number. It really is a lovely story and very funny. I recognize what you say about the start, but pick it up again and read more than 3 chapters. You are not going to regret it.
