Good basic ice cream maker,
This review is from: Midas ice cream maker - non electric - stainless steel (Kitchen & Home)Arrived well packaged and the quality of construction is good - it looks like a quality item.
Needs freezing for a good 12 hours - unless my freezer is just slow.......
Easy to use - the recipes that come with it seem to work OK ( have tried 2) and there are lots of others on the web.
One thing to note - try to make sure the ice cream mix is COLD before you put it in - seems obvious but it does make a huge difference to the time taken to freeze down
I like the fact that this has no moving parts and it isn't much trouble just to take the top off and stir it a few times.
Easy to store in the freezer once you have made a space for it.
No bad points. Easy to use, cheap to run, makes good ice cream / sorbets in the flavours the supermarkets don't stock. More green tea and basil ice cream anyone?
