We have owned and used this machine regularly for over a year now (December 2008 to January 2010) and have been very happy with it. In fact over this time we have bought bread only once (due to moving house) and have exclusively used this machine to make bread loaves and dough for rolls. In all this time we have been very happy with this machine.

Using the machine is simplicity itself. All that is needed is to lift out the metal basket inside, ensure that the correct kneading paddle is inserted and then place this on some kitchen scales, adding the correct amount of ingredients as directed by the recipe book (a fairly substantial collection of recipes are included). It really makes no mess as the only part which then needs washing is the baking basket when the bread is ready.

Bsking can take 4-6 hours depending upon the loaf required although there is also a quick bake option which takes around 2 hours. This may seem long but remember that for good bread it must be kneaded, then left to rest and then re-kneaded. All it takes is a little forethought and remembering to put the bread on ready for the time you want. The machine has a 13 hour time so it is easy to prepare everything the night before and then leave it to automatically start when required guaranteeing freshly baked bread every morning.

There is one other benefit we have found with the machine in that we have been generally healthier since we have been eating home made bread without the nasties and preservatives found in shop-bought bread. This is of course a subjective opinion but I do believe that our health has been better because of this
