This review is from: Kenwood CH180 Mini Chopper, 300 Watt (Kitchen & Home)
This is really useful, I do a lot of Indian cookery and this is the most useful little chopper. The blade goes to the bottom of the container, so it will chop the minimum amount of ginger and garlic just cut into reasonable sizes then add to bowl, also great for chopping coriander and chillies, but also very good at cutting large amounts.I even grounded a load of spices for a Garam Marsala with it, usually I use my Braun coffee grinder that I use only for grinding spices, but wanted to ground a lot so used the Kenwood Mini Chopper, perfect. It is used every day. Comments

my nearly 40 yr old mini grinder, moulinex, died a little while ago. i tried a james martin endorsed one, think it was wahl, which we found to be poor in quality and performance, so bad that amazon refunded us. i have faith after reading reviews that this little kenwood will do the job as we grind all our own spices and chop herbs, essential for our kitchen.

V. useful review - I am after a mill-type appliance and if this Mini or a Coffee Grinder works just as well for mashing up spices, then I won't bother with the Argos Chopper/Mill which is retailing at £32-99.
