This review is from: The Kingmaker's Daughter (Cousins War Series Book 4) (Kindle Edition)
Not my favorite book in the series, maybe because I have read them all back to back. This is a good story told from Ann Nevilles view point and covers all the events mentioned in previous books but seen from a different angle and fills in sections that Ann and her sister were particularly involved in. I found I was unable to warm to Ann unlike other characters in previous books, I think this may be due to her obsession with Elizabeth Woodville and her family, but can quite understand, after her upbringing, why she should feel so paranoid. Ann experiences so much from a young age in a very male orientated era where women are currency, to be used to further their family's power/wealth/land. Ann was a remarkable woman who experienced some very difficult situations and survived , where others may have failed, to become Queen alongside her husband the King,Richard .
Worth reading if a fan of the books in the cousins war series as tells the story of the remarkable Neville daughters.
