Missing Pages - Book Replaced,
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Under Another Sky: Journeys in Roman Britain (Hardcover)
This book Under Another Sky: Journeys in Roman Britain, was found to have several pages missing when unpacked, presumably part of a bad printing run. Unfortunately, this was only discovered when the book was out of Amazons' return period and a replacement could not be arranged through them.
However, I am pleased to say that offers of a free replacement have been received from both the author and her publishers and that the recipient of this gift can now continue to enjoy it.

Hello, this is bad news. I'm very sorry to hear this. A small batch printed in the summer had pages missing and out of order. Was not a great experience for me, either! Can you email me on charlotte[dot]higgins[at]theguardian.com and I can easily arrange for it to be replaced free of charge, or I'll send you another myself. I'm shocked that the bookseller didn't agree to change a faulty copy. Charlotte Higgins
