Another excellent, though provoking story,

This review is from: The Explosive Nature of Friendship (The Greek Village Collection Book 3) (Kindle Edition)
This is the third in the series by Sara Alexi and the story of the third inhabitant of the little Greek village.
Each story reveals a little more of the community in which it's set as well as the lives of those people at the centre of that particular book.
It was a real page-turner and evocative of a lovely life style perhaps lost to many of us in the modern world.
I found the story of his life so far to be very poignant and quite thought provoking, though it did feel like he needed a kick up the pants at times for wallowing in his self-pitying world.
I think the story will strike a chord with many readers because I think many of us have done things in our lives that we look back on with unhappiness and disappointment, perhqps unnecessarily . In this case, it’s not only his own memories of the past events that are important, but (luckily for him) also those of his neighbours, family and friends.
I look forward enormously to the next instalment in the series and am curious as to which resident will be under the microscope; will it be someone we’ve already met or a complete stanger.
