OK - ish,

This review is from: The McKinsey Mind - Understanding and Implementing the Problem-Solving Tools and Management Techniques of the World's Top Strategic Consulting Firm (Hardcover)
Having worked with mcKinsey, and, frankly, been pretty impressed, I expected greater things from this book. However, I was disappointed. The opening chapters offer a great deal of promise, and the later chapter on interviewing was interesting, but overall, this book represents McKinsey very well. 95% commonsense, with a dash of jargon.
And frankly, the sometimes arrogant tone of the book is annoying. One is left with the feeling that Mckinsey-ites (as it appears they like to be known) have huge egos - which makes them present commonsense as outstanding commercial awareness, allied with problem-solving wizardry.
In short, an interesting read - but don't expect inspirational solutions, or winning strategies
