This review is from: Italian Home Baking: 100 Irresistible Recipes for Bread, Biscuits, Cakes, Pizza, Pasta and Party Food (Hardcover)Bought this from the book club man for £5, but it's definately worth a lot more than this.
It's very, very good. I've just eaten some freshly baked foccacia with rosemary, probably one of the best breads I've tasted.
There are lots of recipies for bread, pizza, cakes and biscuits. I have got through 2 Kg of flour in the first 2 weeks.
All the recipies so far work and with truly impressive results. This book is definately in my top 1/2 dozen out of an embarrasing cookery book shelf full.
Top tip; get your pistachios, cachews, almonds etc. from the local Asian shop, and mozzerella from ALDI /LIDL - much cheaper than from one of the big four.
