4.0 out of 5 stars VAUDEVILLE AND DECAY!!!, 4 Sep 2006
This review is from: Hysteria (Audio CD)
the follow up to dare was always going to be difficult!!!!

from what ive read a lot of the band had different ideas and wanted them all on here and some should have been left well behind.

tracks like i love you too much, rock me again are just awful!!!!

on a possitive note there are some underated classics on here such as the sign and so hurt!

the three single releases (the lebanon)...fantastic but a bit to heavy and political for some(not me!)...(louise)....pure classy pop love song...and (life on your own)...classy,wonderful and my personal favourite...but why did they release a song which starts "winter is approaching, theres snow upon the ground" in the spring...sure it wasnt the league but record company big wigs!

this album was am important mile stone for the league..the wonderful girls feature more...some original members left...it showed where they were heading...

not the best album they recorded but not the worst...well save that for crash!!!!

G. Donaldson says:
Check out the original Martin Rushent-produced version of I Love You Too Much, which is far superior to the Hysteria version (although I do like that version too).
