This review is from: Logos (Live At The Dominion London '82) (Audio CD)
In my opinion the best Tangerine Dream album and one of my own personal favourites.
Everything contained here gels seemlessly. The sound is wonderful. The trademarks of TD are performed live and this album is a summary of the concert that lasted over two hours.
Logos contains many 'anthems' if you like segued together by wonderful cinematic sequences. Great in the car and makes the North Devon Link Road more exciting.
A lot of the sounds performed are digital but the music maintains the warmth of earlier TD releases. I would also recommend the 1984 live album 'Poland' released after the contract ended with Virgin following the 'Hyperborea' album. Poland has a slightly more commercial sound but is the last decent TD record. Anything after that imho is too clinical and new agey and TD no longer had the edge (Technology made it too easy and made them lazy?)
All in all Logos is a 'must buy' and must be played loud.
