Burnout as it has to be!,
This review is from: Burnout Paradise - The Ultimate Box (PC DVD) (DVD-ROM)
First of all, I'm from Germany, so don't care to much about my typing please =)
Seriously, this is Burnout as it has to be without losing any style and gameplay of the old games.
You get a free city to drive in and literally at EVERY traffic light in the city you can start a race just by pressing to buttons and it instantly starts without any loadscreen. (By the way, there are never any loadscreens except for the gamestart.)
There's always action in the game. You race from junction to junction doing another race in different modes.
If you don't want to do different modes, just go for the right color, you always can choose which race you wanna do next.
75 Cars (until now) and Bikes give you an aim and the burnout licence obviously. But the cars are not always about speed. You have crash, stunt, race and the allrounder-cars which fit to the different racemodes. You can see which mode fits by the color, your Boostmeter has.
Even if your not doing a race, you just go Powerparking or smash the 400 obstacles around the city or you do the showtime (crashing as much cars as possible and do the most damage for EVERY street in the city and set a record) just by clicking a button in freeride.
The game is just so easy to handle but SO much fun.
And best thing of it. The best console-conversion i've ever seen. I play it on Win7 64Bit Beta with my AMD Athlon 64Bit X2 4200+ and a HD2600 XT and runs nearly on high (except for AA and shadows of course).
Compared with GTA IV, which PC-Version is rubbish, burnout is just so much fun.
First time i know, EA doesn't use any Copy-Protection on a game. You just install it, type in the CD-Key and it goes. You don't need the DVD inserted.
You really should test it! And believe me, you just can't stop playing after 10min gameplay =)
greetings from snowy Germany

Yours Truly says:
Danke für das! =]
(for the sake of any language rules, I'll translate: thank you for that)
I also have the game, and it's a lot of fun. Is it just me, though, or is the game not as dramatic and fun as it used to be? Might just be me...
