It has a 3 year warranty, so reliability should not be a worry - this review does not tell me if its any good to use.

Really should give more informative feedback as this is just useless.

Agreed. Would be helpful to know what problem you experienced and why you believed Logitech were unhelpful.
My experience of Logitech very recently (Jan 09) was that they were impossible to fault. My V270 bluetooth optical mouse started to play up after 18 months - L/H button micro switch sometimes needed more than usual pressure to activate - Went through a short Q & A session and checked connectivity with them. Logitech concluded it was probably the microswitch and replaced the mouse without murmer or fuss. In fact the V270 is no longer available so they replaced with the laser V470 FOC and received an email the following day confirming despatch via UPS. Also gave tracking number. What was even better about their service was that I could not find my original invoice and they did not want the V270 returning.
Kind of gives you a bit of faith that there are still some good manufacturers out there who actually care, we need more like Logitech.
