A book to give hope to the survivors of the March 11th earthquake,
This review is from: 2:46: Aftershocks: Stories from the Japan Earthquake (Kindle Edition)This book is a collection of people's thoughts and feelings about the March 11th earthquake in Japan. All the money it makes will go to the Japanese Red Cross which is trying to help hundreds of thousands of survivors who have lost everything.
Each writer's piece comes from the heart which allows the reader some insight into the emotions of people affected by the
earthquake in many different ways. The speed in which the book was put together means that the stories are written without much after-thought, making them more powerful. The aims of the book, just like the accounts inside, are honest. Raise money to help people whose lives were torn apart in one seismic shift and raise awareness of how ordinary people are trying to come to terms with what has happened. A worthy cause and a thought-provoking read.
