Confused and dated,

This review is from: Tyldesley's Oral Medicine (Oxford Medical Publications) (Paperback)Best to avoid this book - don't be fooled by the first 3 chapters (which are actually ok) as it goes downhill from there. The chapter on pre-malignancy is especially bad (do the authors even understand it??).
Probably best to go for Cawson's essentials of oral med/path, although that is by no means always clear or comprehensive (but a great deal better than this book).
Oxford dental texts are usually good (and indeed the Oxford Oral pathology is very good) - this is not.
