2.0 out of 5 stars Too much philosophical !!, 16 Aug. 2012
By
This review is from: Tao Te Ching: The Ancient Classic (Capstone Classics) (Hardcover)
First of all, the book is written in a sort of old English and I didn't like it at all because I only read and understand modern English!! But I'm Italian, so if you're native English speaker, you could read it smoothly!!

Apart from that, it's a book too much philosophical for my personal taste!!

If you want to read something philosophical but with some smart practical application, "The Science of Getting Rich" could be a very good reading!!

It's a very old book, so it's bound to be translated like that I suppose. And this is the religious scripture for Taoism and the base of Buddhism I believe. So it's bound to be philosophical.. You should know what you were getting into, right?

I'm not a joker!! I was speaking seriously!!

First of all, I got that book for free!!

Secondly, you should read "The Science Of Getting Rich" by Wallace Wattles and only after you'll be able to make a useful comparison!!

Best regards.

Fab

PS "The Science Of Getting Rich" by Wallace Wattles has got tons of positive reviews on Amazon and the authour died 100 years ago, hence, there isn't any dirty marketing trick to get all those positive reviews!!
