An easy light read but a few niggles,
This review is from: Meet Me At The Cupcake Café (Paperback)
Not my favourite Jenny Colgan read but not a bad one. A nice pleasant story which I thought was a little slow at times. However there were a few niggles (I'm picky I know!) Why mention car models if you're going to get it all wrong? - Mentions a BMW 23i (which isn't a model), then says it is an X series (which is a 4x4) and in the next passage, says it's a low slung sports car! Plus I'm sure a 10 year old isn't as immature as she makes out Darny to be - he sounds like more of a 6/7 year old. And finally, like another reviewer, my daughter made one of the recipes and it was a bit of a disaster! I did love Louis though.

Who cares about the car details being wrong??? I was way more interested in the cakes. The Nutella cookies are delicious... I loved this book but then I'm addicted to baking and hope to open my own cake shop one day....!
