erratic and inconsistent writing,
This review is from: A Thousand Pardons (Kindle Edition)
This novel starts very well with good characterisation and plot. It reminded me of John Irving with a couple of incidents that hit you in the face. The problem is that the writer loses the plot which becomes increasingly far fetched. There is a real problem relating the plot line to the characters. Further by introducing character after character in centre stage none of them become satisfyingly three dimensional or credible.
