A good engaging book, but a little room for improvement,
This review is from: Always the Wedding Planner, Never the Bride: An Emma Rae Creation (Kindle Edition)
Overall, I really enjoyed this book. I think I paid 77p for it though and there is no way I would pay £7 for it! I love weddings so this book instantly appealed to me. The characters were charming and Emma and Sherilyn's friendship was lovely.
However, I think the story line with the 'Russell' was just a bit silly and unneeded in the story. There is also a lot of American references in there, so if you are looking for British chick lit then this will not be for you. I also now realise that this was published by a publications company who specialise in religious fiction. I personally didn't like all these religious references throughout the book, but others may like it. I understand that a few would be thrown in as it's about marriage, so I wouldn't mind a couple. However, at some places it got a bit deep for me... that's just my opinion though.
I really enjoyed the overall storyline though, just wish that the bits with Russell weren't included!
